Also, the audio jack and USB port should have been at opposite ends like, again, in the e280 (audio output jack at the top and USB port at the bottom). I would have given this product an excellent rating if not for the following minor items:Īlthough menu navigation is relatively easy - like an Ipod - I prefer the menu navigation that they have on the Sansa e280 which, IMHO, is more intuitive.

They're also availabl e at Ebay at a very reasonable price. To keep me from dropping it again, I got a silicon jacket for it. Sandisk should have glued some kind of a silicon backing to make it less slippery and less prone to being dropped. I don't think any harddrive-based player could have survived it. I accidentally dropped it once from about 4 feet onto a hard surface and it still works like nothing happened. The quality of sound and video are very good. With the use of an 8GB micro SDHC flash card which is inserted in the card slot, it has ample space for audiobooks, music, and some movies.

It has all the features of the IPod but costs a lot less. For the price (I got it at eBay), the Sansa View 16GB can't be beat.
